Commoncoin Wallet - Tutorial

Coin r

The power of money at the service of its users.

Commonfare advocates abundance instead of scarcity, and sharing of resources instead of accumulation to promote your freedom of economic interaction. Below you can find how to take part to this innovative process of community building through welfare provision from the bottom up.

First of all, you need an account on commonfare.net to see your Commoncoin Wallet. If you haven’t done so yet, create your account.

Once you are registered, you can access your Wallet by clicking on your name on the top bar, then selecting ‘Commoncoin Wallet’.

This is your Wallet. The first thing that you will see is your current balance in Commoncoin (cc): You will start with a balance of 400 Commoncoins, as a form of basic income you can enjoy to participate in the Commonfare economy.

From this page you can send Commoncoin to another Commoner and see the list of transactions, which is currently empty.

You can use Commoncoin for different purposes, like rewarding stories or comments, or exchanging second hand goods or services offered in the Commonplace by other Commoners.

To start a transaction, click on the button ‘Send cc’ below the current balance.

Now you can specify the recipient, the amount to transfer and a message (optional) to describe the reason of your transfer.

Are you afraid of making mistakes? Don’t worry! You will always see an overview before confirming the transaction.

If the transaction is successful, you will see again the main Wallet page and a confirmation message. As you can see, there is a new transaction in your list!

That’s it! Making Commoncoin transaction is easy and safe. Now you can use your own cc as you prefer :^) as you can re-appropriate the power of money and share it with other Commoners for the benefit of all.

Commonfare.net is for, with, and by people.

Do you want to join? You will need only an email address, and we will never use it for other purposes.
